How You Know It’s Time to Change

Posted by aonenetworks On November 24, 2012

Change can be debilitating for a lot of people, but it’s also necessary in life. However, sometimes it’s less about change, and more about management and patience. But how do you know which one you should be striving for? Here are two things you should look out for when you’re trying to figure out if you should be going for change or playing the waiting game.

Growth

Some people insist that work should be easy, eventually, and it shouldn’t take too much out of you. Generally, however, growth only happens when we do strain and stretch ourselves to the limit. That is when we see big things happen.

Growth happens when you reach for something, no matter how much of a pain it is. Change will make you uncomfortable, and sometimes that discomfort lasts much longer than you’d like it to last. But just like growing pains predict growth in height, the pain that change causes usually means a lot of growth in the near future. If you aren’t hurting, you’re not likely to see any growth or change.

No Results

If you aren’t doing something consistently and are having trouble keeping a routine – say, you don’t always advertise every month, and sometimes you have an assistant but sometimes you can’t afford them – then it’s likely you won’t be seeing any results. But if you have been doing a task consistently over a reasonably long period of time, you deserve to see results. If you aren’t, you need to consider changing. Experiment, work on the titles of your posts, change the size (or quality) of your images. Find something that works for you!
